Most likely, you didn't buy your Cobra with extended sleeves but if the Cobra you did buy mentioned "opt. sleeve upgradable" or "sleeve option", it meant that you can buy them separately and insert them in the Cobra using the buttons located on the inside of the Cobra (inside the sleeve). Sometimes you need sleeves and sometimes you don't and that can be really convenient in some circumstances.
Instructions: To remove the Cobra sleeves, all you do is loosen or detach the buttons from the button loops. That's all! To insert Cobra sleeves, all you do is just button the holes for each sleeve and you're ready to go! Just make sure that the sleeve is facing the correct direction as seen in the pictures shown.
Tactical Concealment puts just as much emphasis into the Cobra accessories as we do with ghillie suits themselves because arms can be used in many ways and can be a factor when sniping or moving into position and wouldn't you like it if you didn't have to worry about the "what if's" of the area of operation you're going into. That's why it's important to cover all the bases and give yourself options, so to speak.
The padded sleeves are covered in 1000 Denier Cordura which will help against sore elbows and forearms when low crawling or moving branches out of the way without tearing the sleeves. The shock cord is used to tighten sleeves if needed. The adjustable webbing band in the hand is sewn inside the sleeve and used to keep the sleeve from riding up the arm, like in a low crawl.
